SEO Do's - Webmaster's Checklist

Small businesses are increasing in number like never before on the world wide web and this calls for an awareness of the necessity to know the basics of search engine optimization as well as stay equipped to implement them for optimizing their websites for search engines. However, there is a lot of misinformation or false information regarding the SEO strategies and tactics. The following lines should throw a light on some SEO do's, presented as a checklist to help realize your SEO goals.

First off you need to have a set of keywords that are used by majority of users. Keyword discovery and wordtracker offer free and paid versions to assist you with keyword research. The Google AdWords keyword tool can also help you for the purpose.

Never assume that SEO is a one-time event or investment because the search engine algorithms are dynamic elements and change at the blink of your eye and thus the SEO strategies and tactics that you have worked for the season may not work this season. Search engine optimization requires a solid long-term commitment as well as outlook.

SEO strategies and tactics do not result in instant rewards. There are webmasters that wait for many months with patience to reap the benefits many months. This is more applicable if you are a relatively small webmaster coming new to the world of online business. If you are hiring an SEO consultant you must know the kind of tactics he will be using. Ask for risks and specifications.

Go to the level of a student to learn about SEO tactics if you want to optimize your website for search engines. It is indeed a great experience to learn and resources on net can be dug and used. There are many e-books on the subject and even online courses offered. You may do research and take the help of any of them and master SEO tactics.

Starting with clearly set SEO goals and web analytics software should help you to analyze and give a feedback of those SEO tactics that are working and those that are failing to deliver.

For the topic or keyword, try and develop a best site and compare it with those of your adversaries and try to improvise yours if you feel so. But be true to yourself. Including a sitemap will help the search engine spiders to crawl into all of your web pages. A sitemap also help the spiders grasp the hierarchy of your website.

Try to devise URLs that are search engine optimized as well. A tip is to add a hyphen in your URL that is regarded as a space by the spiders.

Starting a PPC campaign with major search engines, it is not only a search engine marketing tactic but it helps a webmaster in giving an understanding of the keywords that are performing the most. If you are not on a tight budget ignore this as an SEO tactic.

As a new entrant into the online marketing industry, I acquired the SEO ethics from a self-motivated Internet marketing expert and an EDC Gold and EDC Diamond top earner. If you are keen to know more of his Internet Marketing Strategies he is ready to tell you.

The EDC webmaster also offers mentoring to his members and gives them valuable and workable strategies to generate targeted web traffic and help them convert the same into sales. Using Link Bait To Attract Massive Free Traffic

Here is a technique I have long used to attract massive free traffic to some of my websites. Recently, more and more people are discussing this largely intuitive technique, and giving it a variety of names. The name I most embrace is "link bait."

"Link bait" is anything that you put on your site that encourages others to link to your site, and then drive massive amounts of free traffic to your site by telling others about it. It's some feature that by it's very nature makes others reference your site and want to tell others about it.

Examples of this could be a service that they need to visit your site to access, or an outstanding article that they have to visit your site to read, or even some type of list that they need to visit your site to access.

Examples of link bait that I can think of (actual and hypothetical)... things that would cause other webmasters, publishers, and just people in general to send you traffic include:

- The site http://formatit.com/ has a software utility that formats emails for free. This is where I format all of my ezines and emails to a max of 65 characters per line ;-)

- The site http://selfpromotion.com/ has a program that allows you to semi-automatically submit your sites to all of the major and minor search engines and directories for free.

- A site that has a listing of all the major blog directories.

- A site that has a listing of all the major places to "ping" when posting to your blog.

- A recipe conversion chart on a cooking site.

- A chart showing calories burned during various exercises.

- A listing (with hot links) and maybe reviews of major internet marketing forums.

- A list of 100 top rated directories to submit your ezine articles to.

- A list of the 100 most popular baby names.

- A list of foods considered aphrodisiacs... and why they work.

... you get the idea!

If you can incorporate something similar to the above on your blog or site, then after the word gets out, it will be natural for people to link to you. They'll feel good linking to and telling others about your site. People enjoy appearing "in the know."

You should do some brainstorming today, and see what ideas you can come up with for link bait to add to you site and then tell the world about.

As I said, it can even be an article. For example, an article on how to really optimize a website, 20 top traffic generation methods, some type of webmaster tricks, etc.

As an example, I recently wrote an article, which I expanded into an ebook called "20 Insider Techniques Of A Super Affiliate." I recently decided to post these techniques as a 20-part series to my blog at http://WillieCrawford.com/blog/

Once people start referring to this series, it will attract traffic to my blog for a very long time. The key then is to have links in my blog's navigation that make it easy to locate this series even months from now!

Go ahead... do some brainstorming, and then put some link bait on your site. Then tell a few others and ask them to help spread the word. After all, link bait only works if the word gets out. Once it does, the flow of traffic will become unstoppable.

Search Engine Optimization Because Out Of Sight Is Out Of Mind

With the increase in cut-throat competition of the corporate world, it is important for each one of us to promote our business or the products and services that we are offering is the best way possible. As we all know, 'out of sight is out of mind', is something that applies to the entire corporate world. With the advancement in technology, the Internet has become a common medium to search for information and to market one's business organization through search engine optimization.

These days, every large and small business enterprise has its website promoted using Internet Marketing. This is generally because it is more convenient for people to shop from their homes at the click of a mouse. Hosting a website also increases the reach of the manufacturer or supplier to the target customers worldwide.

As many choices that are made available to the Internet users for the same products and services, it is not practically possible for them to search each and every link. So, to make it easy for the users, search engine optimization is the technique that is used by the search engines to arrange the results in accordance with the keyword entered by the user in the order of preference. This is why, there is a need to make a site search engine optimized according to the factors that affect search engine rankings or factors that give a higher SEO ranking to a site. This enables a business organization to reach its target customers by increasing its visibility with the help of search engines.

Some of the factors that give a higher SEO ranking are - articles, keywords stuffing, content, exchange links and many others. The most important of all is the content. The content is what users actually want, so it is very essential to ensure the originality of the content. It should be relevant content, written in simple language to ensure that the readers do not have to make an effort to comprehend what is actually being said. Otherwise, this will reduce the interest of the readers and they may prefer any other site to get the same information.

Keyword stuffing is another thing that is very important. Scatter the keywords in the content of the website that is recognized by the search engines. Another point is to include articles on your website that gives information about the products and services your website is offering. This information, conveyed through articles, can talk about the benefits of the products/services that you are offering and may convince the potential customers to make the purchase.

You can also give exchange links from other sites for reference to the users and also give the link to your site on other related websites. However, one should keep in mind that the sites that you are exchanging your links with are based on the same theme.

Alt tag can also be included on your website. Though images are not read by search engines, if you add an alt tag, it will make available texts to the pictures, so that images can also be indexed or recognized by the search engines. This also makes the website user-friendly for users who use text-only browsers.

Article Marketing - 4 Amazing Tips For Writing Cash Generating Articles Fast!

Do you wonder how some marketers are able to make a lot of cash with article marketing?

The answer is that they write a lot of articles.

Many article marketers wanna-be will write one article a week. The most motivated will send ten articles per week to various article directories.

I'll be totally honest with you. This won't cut it.

To make a lot of money with article marketing, you need to submit hundreds of article per month.

Write on the most popular topics without worrying about competition. These topics are gold, Internet marketing, weight loss, learning Spanish and other languages, dog training, etc...

You also need to write fast.

Article marketing is a numbers game, and the more article you write and submit to directories, the more money you will make.

It is important that you don't spend too much time on a single article. Just write about your topic without thinking about it.

You do not need to worry about grammar or spelling mistakes while you are typing. Just write about what you think. This is called the "brain dump" method.

Once you finished writing, go back and edit your article in MS word.

Remember that you are going to write another article right after this one. I told you that article marketing is a numbers game before.

You need to submit at least three articles every single day.

If you submit those three articles every single day, you are going to see results from your article marketing effort.

Don't forget that you need to build your list of subscribers in the process to make even more money.

3 Important Check List To A Successful SEO Campaign

Search engine optimization is the process of maximizing the ranking of your site in search engine listings. SEO is an ongoing process, requiring addition of new fresh content, constant modification of site content, changes to site architecture and link building (this is a subset of search engine marketing).

One of the benefits of Search Engine Optimization is that it can enable your Web Site to attract visitors without paying for search engine advertising fees using pay per click marketing.

There are three essential things in a successful SEO campaign.

#1 Good Quality Content

These days, however, the Internet is a deluge of content in all shapes and sizes, with people of various age groups, backgrounds, and geographic locations, generating their own Internet publications and content.

Adding that amount of good quality, original content virtually guarantees traffic from Google especially, as Google loves lots of useful original content it's spider has not found before.

Therefore, businesses on Internet must find a way to be prioritized among hundreds and thousands of businesses offering similar or congruent content.

#2 Developing High Pagerank

The word "PageRank" is a trademark of Google Inc. PageRank can be understood as a democratic process: each page on the web has one vote, and distributes that vote among the other pages it links to. The PageRank contributed by a given page to those it links to is equal to its own PageRank divided by the total number of links it has. Pages with higher PageRank are thus considered more important or reliable by Google. Having a lot of content helps as well because by having many pages of content also increases your rankings.

#3 Good Quantity of Links

"Content is King", but links are putting the king on the throne and create the foundation for a kingdom that grows and flourishes. Quality links are always given to the worthy and you have to earn them by proving the worthiness of your content and your site. Quality links are links that will help your business, even if they would not count for search engine ranking. In the search landscape today is quality content without links to reinforce it like a "king without kingdom".

To sum it all up, it is important to realize about search engine optimization is that it is important for those sites that rely on search engines to drive traffic to them. SEO is very important, especially for people who make a living online. Search engine optimization is not rocket science and to a certain degree technical. Literally everyone can implement it easily.

The Top 3 Ways to Fail at Article Marketing

Everyone seems to agree that articles are a phenomenal way of getting a good foothold in your online niche space - with all of the tips, tricks and fads, it seems pretty certain that article marketing will be a solid and secure strategy for years to come, right? What amazes me nonetheless is how SO many people seem to take a simple and straightforward strategy and just muck the whole thing up in the name of a few quick bucks and a quick end around approach to building a real business, rather than simply putting in the effort to make it happen.

The good news it this: If you aren't one of the sheep at the back of the pack buying into all of the boisterous buffoonery that the guys at the top want you to believe, and are willing to work hard, articles that you write for both content, and promotion are going to give you a HUGE leg up on your lackluster competition. For the rest of you who are going for the quick fix, here are a few of the TOP ways you should keep in mind as you strive to chase your tail for another few years..:-)

1) Don't write ANY of your own content. Simply spend your paycheck buying PLR memberships, article spinners and content creation programs. The guys selling all of these programs REALLY appreciate your patronage, and should you make the rash decision to actually create some unique, valuable content, many of these guys would have to find another meal ticket to milk. This wouldn't be nice to do, especially around the holidays.

2) Mass submit all of your articles to EVERY directory on the net. The more times your exact article shows up in every PR 0 and 1 directory online, the more of an authority you appear to be. Remember, all of those splogs that are carrying your content is a good thing - and paying that service to ensure that your apple pie recipe shows up in the travel directories database does help too. The more the merrier.

3) In your resource box - make sure you talk A LOT about yourself. Share all the awards you have won, and make sure to post a picture of yourself with a tank top on, because that REALLY juices up your click through rates. ( no pun intended) If you've got a cool pair of sunglasses, make sure you have them on when you take the picture to include in your bio, too. Also - if you have 20 free blogs, make sure to list at least 10 of them here, preferably in alphabetical order.

That's it! If you follow these three simple steps, well - let's just say you'll join the hundreds, if not thousands of other article marketers following these sure fire strategies for an ignominious end to their internet marketing aspirations. Or - you could simply roll your sleeves up, give up on the gurus, and get to work..:-) Either way, have fun and good luck!

Real Estate Marketing Strategies - Are You a "People Pleaser" or Are You Committed to "Win/Win"?

The biggest mistake that most real estate agents make in dealing with their clients and colleagues is that they are unconsciously committed to "people pleasing." This article shows you the signs to watch out for. These signs will clearly show you whether you are inadvertently falling into a "people pleaser" pattern. If so, you'll be shown an alternative strategy. You'll learn what it means to commit to win/win or no deal.

Part 1: How do you know, if you are a people pleaser?

Here are the signs to watch out for:

1. You don't feel in charge of your business. It seems that your clients are running you around. You find yourself accommodating to their schedules and feeling that you have no life of your own.

2. You find yourself wasting time with people that you thought were prospective clients, only to find out that they were not really committed to working with you.

3. You find it hard to speak the truth to your clients. For example, you find it hard to tell them specifically how to price their home. You may also find it hard to insist that prospective buyers agree to a buyer's agreement with you.

4. You take on clients that you know you shouldn't. You intuition is telling you that there is trouble ahead. You don't see the red flags, because you want to be nice and you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

5. You find it hard to pick up the phone and call on prospects. It could be that you find it hard to call your sphere of influence, your former clients, or even warm leads. You tell yourself, I don't want to bother anyone.

6. You let your colleagues and associates encroach on your time. Perhaps they pass by your office and think that it's a good time to talk to you. You have trouble setting boundaries with them and saying, Sorry, I'm busy now. You want them to like you.

7. You also want your clients to like you, so you bend over backwards to meet their needs. I've even had some clients who took on the job of babysitting children of their prospective clients. They thought if they could just please them enough, they would get the business.

8. If you are a broker or a manager, you put up with having people in your office who shouldn't be there. Their energy is negative, and they pull down the morale of your office.

Part 2: A case history of a broker and her hard to let go of agent.

One of my clients, I will change the names to ensure confidentiality, was a broker of a small office.

About a year ago, she failed to follow her intuition and hired an agent who turned out to be hostile and negative. Looking back on it, she said, the red flags were there.

For a year, my client, Jacqueline, had been trying to let this agent go. As the year went on, not only did the agent fail to produce, but she became increasingly hostile, picking fights with other agents in the office.

My client felt sorry for the agent, Mary, and tried to overlook the difficulties. Under the surface, what was really happening was that my client had been taught when she was young to put up with people instead of speaking her mind.

Although this served to help her survive as a child, it really got in the way of her being a successful real estate agent. This interaction with Mary brought it to a head.

She would either have to speak the truth and tell Mary to go or she would have to put up with more slacking and negativity. Because she felt sorry for Mary and afraid of any negative repercussions of letting her go, she procrastinated the difficult task of letting Mary go.

Finally, after a few sessions of coaching, she got the courage, the understanding, and the right words to end this negative relationship.

To her surprise, there were no repercussions, no fights, and no fallouts. Instead, Mary handled it calmly and swiftly. Before the end of the day, Mary had packed up and left the office.

My client was so relieved. She felt like a burden has been lifted off of her shoulders that had been weighing her down for nearly a year. She and I discussed how this happened, the red flags that she ignored and how she could prevent this from happening again. She then committed to win/win or no deal.

Part 3: Win/Win or no deal - what does it mean?

When you commit to win/win or no deal, as Stephen Covey says, you are agreeing to never again enter into a relationship in which you will lose and the other person will win. In other words, you are deciding to relinquish your old people pleasing pattern.

Remember, the "people pleasing pattern" is based on the self limiting beliefs that other people's needs are more important than your own. Dropping that paradigm means embracing a new paradigm -- "my needs are as important as other people's needs."

What can you expect as the results?

You can expect that you will be more highly tuned in to your intuition and "gut feelings." If your "gut feeling says, "No" then you will listen to that rather than your "mind", which doesn't always tell the truth.

You can expect that prospective buyers you work with will respect your policies because you will insist that they agree to a buyer's agreement. You can expect that when they do finally buy a home, it will be from you.

You can expect that your clients and colleagues will gain respect for you because you are finding respect for yourself. Please note that you don't need your clients to like you. You just need them to respect you.

(As an aside, studies have shown that it is not so important as to whether they like you, but rather, what's important is that they perceive that you like them. When they perceive that you like them, they feel protected and taken care of, and will give you their business.)

You can expect that you will be telling the truth to sellers about how they should price their homes and you will be telling the truth to buyers as to how much they can expect to get for their money.

If you are a broker, you can expect to be much more particular when you hire agents. You won't be worrying about pleasing people, and you will be better able to evaluate the character, and work ethics of your team.

You can expect to have better control of your own schedule. You will be clearly setting boundaries and defining when you are able to work and when you're not. Not only will your clients respect you for that, but you will find that you finally have a life.

You can expect to be more courageous in your prospecting. No longer will you be trying to please everyone you call. Rather, you will be coming from the mindset of I have something valuable to offer, and this person is lucky to hear from me.

You can expect to back out of deals that you recently entered into when you were trying to be a people pleaser. As soon as you sense that this deal is going to be difficult or draining to you, you'll remind yourself, that it's Win/Win, or no deal.

You can expect to be more assertive with your clients, with colleagues that stop by your office and pull on your ear, and even in group situations when you need to speak publicly.

What is the underpinning of all of this positive change? The key is that you approve of yourself. This is the greatest confidence builder that you have - your own approval of yourself. When you have that, you are no longer outer directed, i.e. trying to get the approval of others. You are inner directed and finding your own inner approval.

Finding your own inner approval is a process. It doesn't happen overnight. Usually you need the help of a mentor or a coach to help guide you out of your old people pleasing pattern (which is usually your blind spot) and into a healthy pattern of self approval, leading to a win/win or no deal.

Lucrative Article Marketing - 4 Best Methods to Breakthrough With Article Marketing

Article marketing is getting the nod of most webmasters today. This technique has never failed to wow marketers because it constantly brings quality traffic to their site without spending a dime on advertising cost. That is why, more and more people are now incorporating this method to their marketing techniques to further augment their traffic and subsequently their profits. Here are the 4 best methods to breakthrough with article marketing:

1. Multiply the number of articles that you write. In article marketing, the quantity of your articles plays a very crucial role because it dictates the number of links you will generate for your site. Thus, it follows that the more articles you submit, the more traffic you will get and the higher you will be ranked by search engines.

2. Focus on the quality of your articles. When increasing the number of your articles, make sure that their quality do not suffer or you will defeat the purpose of article marketing. Remember, online users will only click the URL on your resource box if they find your article useful, easy to understand, informative, and of high quality.

3. Make your resource box compelling. Your resource box must be well-written and it must be able to convince your readers to go and visit your site. To do that, make sure that your resource box contains your name, your specialty, how you can help your readers, and why should they check out your website.

4. Hire somebody to post your articles to major publishing sites. Article submission can be very tedious and time-consuming considering the number of articles submission sites today. In order for you to focus on what you do best, which is writing, ask someone to submit your articles for you.

Network Marketing - The Secrets, Tips And Strategies To Success

There are better and more efficient ways to build your network marketing business. The traditional methods are out of fashion and just don't work anymore. Because of this, 95% of the people in this industry are failing.

A reason why most people in this industry are failing is because they fail to constantly generate new leads. Purchasing leads from companies are not the leads you want to spend your time with and cold call to. The best leads you want to spend your time with are the leads you generate because they have come to you and you're not knocking on there door and harassing them with your business opportunity.

You must have a backbone to how and where you generate your leads. Without a consistent flow of fresh new leads you will not succeed in network marketing. I call this backbone a funnel and this is the key to building a very large business and having it succeed.

An auto-responder is an essential tool to your network marketing campaign. Without it you will not be able to keep in contact with your leads and I'm talking about tons and tons of leads (prospects).

Also, you must find your desired target market. These are the people looking for the opportunity and not looking to be sucked into a business.

Follow these strategies and your well on your way to success in the network marketing industry. Remember you control what your prospects read for the rest of time once they enter you're funnel.

Article Marketing - Article Marketing Tips for Newbies

Article marketing is one of the absolute basics of internet marketing. Having articles all over the internet is a marketing method which enables you to invest some time and effort right now and reap the benefits for years to come. This article will explore some of the advantages of article marketing and its subtleties in order to help internet marketers to use it to their best advantage.

Anyone who's been doing internet marketing for a while knows that writing articles is imperative to the success of one's online campaigns. Having articles in various article directories is a great way of providing links back to your site, thus building your site's popularity. When a page has many links back to it it helps to attain good positioning in the search engines. An article directory which has a high page rank is the best place to submit articles to as this helps to boost your page's rank.

Bear in mind that people take articles they enjoy and publish them in their ezines and on their websites, further providing you, the author, with more back links and publicity.

When you have articles of your own posted in article directories you can slowly establish your name as an expert in your niche. People will be more apt to trust your recommendations.

Although it may be tempting to write a bunch of articles in one day and submit them to a few directories, exercise caution with this. Why is that? Because Google is quite sensitive about a sudden surge in traffic to a link. Although we would all love a sudden surge in traffic, it may cause Google to de-index your site in order to look in to the reason for the sudden popularity of your site. It's better to submit articles every couple of days.

In the process of article marketing, don't submit an article that is already on your own website. It may be considered duplicate content and you don't want that! Google would consider the site which is higher ranking to be the originator of the article (the article directory) and your site's page rank may suffer.

Don't submit PLR articles without making changes!! There is so much PLR available today (free and otherwise) and it is very tempting to just grab it and use it. Don't do it. The purpose of these articles is to provide you with a basis for an article. Read it and rewrite it in your own words. Duplicate articles could be rejected by the article directories and the directories may just decide to ban your account.

Try to use good keywords in your article's title and also in the beginning of the first paragraph. Sprinkle your chosen keyword all over the article as well.

Most article directories allow you to use hyperlinks. For sophisticated and efficient article marketing try to use anchor text that relates to the keywords you are targeting. This will help you attain a better position in the SERP's (search engine result pages). If you are targeting the word "gardening tips" make sure to hyperlink to your website from each mention of the term in your article. This will help your gardening site be higher in the search results for the term "gardening tips".

Try to remember that people will be reading your article. Make it readable for them and don't just concentrate on the density of your keywords. If people don't enjoy reading the article, they won't bother reaching the end of it, which is where you will lead them to your site from the ever-important resource box!

In summary, article marketing is a very important, even critical, element of internet marketing. Every internet marketer should be making the effort to become proficient in article marketing and learning how to write decent quality articles in as little time as possible. It will bring in terrific long term results.

Happy writing!

Article Marketing - Do You Want Traffic or Visitors Coming to Your Web Site?

All internet marketers want to have people coming to their web sites. On the internet this has come to be known as traffic. I'm not sure I really like that word too much though.

According to dictionary dot com, traffic is defined as: "the movement of vehicles, ships, persons, etc., in an area, along a street, through an air lane, over a water route, etc." We usually think of it as something you want to avoid.

Again, according to dictionary dot com, visitor is defined as: "person who visits, as for reasons of friendship, business, duty, travel, or the like."

Now here is my question - which one do you want coming to your web site or blog?

Now before you say that this is just semantics, consider which one you are holding in your thoughts as you write an article or an email. Traffic sounds like some anonymous group of people. Visitors sound like people, even individual people.

I've come to favor the term visitors because this allows me to hold real actual people in my mind as I write articles, emails and create products. I believe this makes a difference in the "know, like and trust" factor. When you are writing to traffic I think the potential know, like and trust factor is low. When you are writing to visitors I think the potential know, like and trust factor is high.

The really great thing is that article marketing is a powerful way to bring visitors to your web sites and blogs.

And now I would like to offer you access to a free CD on how to drive an endless stream of visitors to your web sites and blogs. You can claim your access by going to http://www.VisitorExplosionSystem.com

Secret Of Writing As Many Articles As You Want - See Everything As An Article

The secret to writing as many articles as you want is really quite simple. You just need to see everything as an article. Allow me to explain further.

Think about your topic. Then, as you go through your day, look at everything around you in terms of your topic. For example, if your topic happens to be bicycle racing, think about your day and how it relates to bicycle racing. If it is cold when you get up in the morning, write an article about how to keep warm and dry during a bicycle race. If you go to work and the boss stresses you out, write an article about how to relieve stress by riding or racing your bike. When you stop at the ATM machine to get some money from the bank on the way to lunch, write about how much it costs to buy certain types of bicycles. When you are on your way home and fill up your car with gasoline, write about how to save money and energy by riding a bike to work. You get the idea.

You will find that there are article ideas all around you. Keep a notebook and pen handy and write down your ideas as they come to you. Talking to other people, reading, and even watching television can also be sources for new ideas.

When you have written ten or more articles on a specific topic, you can combine them in a logical order and turn it into an ebook. Yes, someone could get all of your articles and read them for free, but it is much faster and more convenient for them to get it all packaged together nicely for them in ebook form.

Best Article Marketing - 5 Huge Methods to Multiply Your Article Marketing

There are so many ways to promote your website in the World Wide Web to generate traffic. However, if you are looking for a single technique that will not only lead visitors to your site, but also pull up your search engine ranking, article marketing is highly recommended. This is one of the most reliable and cost-effective marketing methods that is being used by most successful webmasters.

Here are the 5 huge methods to multiply your article marketing:

1. Write more. To get the exposure you need, increase the number of articles you write everyday. Remember, the quantity of your articles determines the number of links you will get from publishing sites.

2. Write quality articles. To effectively convince your readers that you are actually very good at what you do, make sure that your articles reflect your expertise. So before you submit, ensure that your articles are well-written, useful, and easy to understand, packed with valuable information, and free from any error.

3. Be patient. Do not expect to get instant traffic after 20-30 submissions, as article marketing doesn't work overnight. Instead, continuously write quality articles and submit them to reputable publishing sites. Experts agree that you need at least 250-300 submissions before you will see noticeable increase in your traffic.

4. Pick the best publishing sites. Make sure that the publishing sites where you submit your articles have high page ranking and have ample traffic. In addition, you have to ensure that they have quick review and posting time.

5. Monitor your clickthroughs. Identify the articles that are picking up online. Determine the reasons why they are being read by your target market. It could be that they have attention-grabbing titles, they offer the information that your readers need, they are easy to read and understand, etc. Take note of these qualities and apply them on your next articles to ensure your success in article marketing.

Profitable Article Marketing - Announcing 3 No-Brainer Ways to Improve Your Article Marketing

Article marketing is an expensive strategy that is highly recommended by most of the best online marketers in terms of traffic generation and product promotion. While this strategy can be effective, this can be confusing for first time users. If you are one of them, this article is for you because it includes the 3 no-brainer ways to improve your article marketing campaign.

1. Identify your objectives. Are you utilizing article marketing to promote your products and services? Or are you using it so you can generate more links from other websites and blogs? It can also be that your main goal is to drive traffic to you site. Establishing your objective can greatly guide you in writing your articles that you will submit on article submission sites.

2. Understand the process of article marketing. In order to benefit from this technique, you must know the elements by heart. Some writers fail to recognize that in order to succeed in article marketing they have to understand search engine optimization so their articles will get indexed. Other writers fail because they don't know the best articles submission sites where they can post their articles. To get maximum exposure I suggest ezinearticles and goarticles.

3. Use attention-grabbing titles. This is especially crucial if you would like to use your articles as link baits. Remember, without a compelling headline, it will not really matter if your article is well-written and useful because most likely, it will not be read at all. Great article titles are brief, concise, keyword-rich, and communicates the benefits they can offer the potential readers. If you are able to master the art of creating compelling titles, you have won half the battle of having your articles read.

Get Ranked Higher in Google Search Engine Result Pages

Today Google is one of the most used search engines for searches today, I will provide a list of thing that you can do to increase your site search results for a targeted keyword. Using these tips will not only increase your results with Google but will help with other Search Engines such as Yahoo & MSN.

Before you start to promote your site over the internet, it is best to first find out what search term or also known as "keyword" that you want to use to build your campaign. It should be a keyword that is related to your site and one that is actually being searched for. A great keyword research tool that you can use is Google Keyword Tool. Using this tool you can type in a keyword manually or let Google analyze your site by typing in your site address. It will return all the keywords that are found on your site and you can filter the results by search volume and competition.

Once you choose your keyword or keywords you will want to implement this in your site which is known as On-Page Optimization. Ensure that your keywords Meta tag reflect that your keywords are included; the keyword should be in your Title or at least a variation. Also in your site content it is best to have this keyword in your content in the right places but don't keywords stuff your site where it may look unnatural. When a keyword accounts for 10% of the entire page content this is too much. When using keywords in your site, Search Engines will pick up if the keywords are in bold or italic. There are more ways to optimize your on page content but there is too much to cover in this article. I started with the basics.

Now for Off-Page Optimization also known as link building, this is one of the most important factors when it comes to your site getting ranked in Google. There are many options when building links. Generally it is best to get your site listed on high page rank pages that are relevant to your site. But that is always not so easy to do. The first link building technique I will mention is Article Submissions. Article Marketing can greatly increase your Google search exposure. You can write an article about something that is related to your site's content, and at the end of the article you can add 3 anchor texts and 3 hyperlinks that will point back to your site. You can then submit this article to article directories and when your site is accepted into the directory you will get back links from the hyperlinks in the article. When creating the anchor texts in the articles make sure you are using your targeted keywords that I mentioned earlier.

Another link building option is submitting your website to website directories or also known as search directories. There are many free ones out there that you can submit your site to. Just like the article submission, when your site is listed on a web directory you will get a backlink from the directory which passes "juice" onto your site. When creating the information to submit your website to directories the most important thing is choosing the right Anchor Text. Make sure when you create Anchor text you are again using your targeted keywords in it. Also make at least 5 variations of the anchor text. If Google sees your site was submitted to 500 directories all with the same anchor text this may be seen as duplicate content and then you most likely will not receive credit for the backlink.

These are just a few ways that you can increase your Google Search Engine Result Page's. There are many other ways for link building and On-Page Optimization.

One of the best directory submission services for helping your website is Nationsubmit Not only will they help grow the popularity of your site, but they will set it up for long term success in the future by establishing a trusted network of links from which the website will grow. Online users have this notion that if an article have compelling titles, it follows that the article is equally interesting and attention-grabbing. That is why they open the articles based on titles alone.

4. Stick to your topic. Never discuss two or more unrelated topics on your articles so you can avoid confusing your readers.

5. Spice up your articles. Insert humor, personal stories, and trivia so your readers will not be bore in reading and digesting all the information included in your articles.

6. Make sure that your articles adhere to publishing sites' guidelines. This is to make sure that your articles will not be rejected and to save you time from revising your articles later on.

7. Inform first before you advertise. This is the basic idea of article marketing. Before you pitch in your products, you must first ensure that you educate your readers with topics that greatly concern them. This allows you to prove to your potential clients that you can be trusted and that you know what you are doing. When they see that you are a figure of authority on your chosen field, they will surely trust you and take any advice from you.

Lucrative Article Marketing - Uncover 3 Easy Steps to Amplify Your Article Marketing

Building trust among your target market is one of the crucial elements to succeed online as people only transact with entrepreneurs whom they find trustworthy. Among the available marketing tools in the internet today, only few of them allows you to showcase your expertise so you can easily earn the trust of online users. One of them is article marketing. This is the process of writing and distributing your articles online to give your readers what they want - information and to build quality inbound links for your website to improve your search engine ranking.

1. Choose your topics wisely. Not all kinds of articles will give you the type of traffic you need. Only those that are highly relevant to your products and the industry to which you belong to. So, focus on writing articles about your offerings and about your target niche so you can drive interested people to your website.

2. Make use of attention-grabbing titles. Promoting your articles online begin with getting online users to take interest on your copies. This can be done by using titles that are striking and truly compelling. Make sure that your titles are short, snappy, intriguing, well thought-out, and communicate the benefits that your content can offer to boost your clickthrough rate.

3. Submit only quality articles. Some article marketers think that as long as they submit articles, regardless of their quality, will succeed on this field as they will increase their inbound links. This is but plain wrong. The quality of your articles is the most important element in this marketing strategy. When people open your articles and they don't find anything interesting in it, they will close it and move to the next article. Yes, they will not click on your resource box and you can never convert them to potential clients.

Modeling Success

I am on a lot of mailing lists, and like to keep track of what's happening in the Internet Marketing scene, so I am pretty in tune with what is going on.

The older more experienced Marketers are teaching new people the business with their special Coaching and Mentoring Programs.

And then as part of their Coaching service they will help these new marketers break into the business, by promoting them to their list. Now there is nothing wrong with this, and it is actually a great thing. This is how some most all the great marketers get started.

Problem is, that it seems like everyday there are more and more people who graduate from these Coaching Programs are getting into the business and want to start giving their Marketing Advice.

And one thing that I can tell you is this, in the Internet Marketing world there is an incredible amount of different information floating around, and it can be overwhelming sometimes. This is what's called Information Overload. And this is not uncommon, and it happens to everyone.

Another problem is that you don't always know if the information you are getting is credible or not. Is this just something that someone has learned from someone else, and is now passing themselves off as an expert? Or is this coming from someone that has really done it.

This is why it is essential that you know the person that you are receiving the information from.

A good marketer is always looking to learn new things, and looking for someone to learn from. If you find just one golden nugget of information it can make you a fortune in your business.

That's why it is critical that when you are looking to learn from someone, look for a person who is out there actively Marketing, someone who is actually in the trenches doing it on a daily basis.

If they are just someone who is learning like you are, then they are definitely not the best person that you want to learn from.

Look for someone who has been in the business for a while and has a good track record of success.

This person can become your Mentor. When you find someone that you look up to and want to be like, then just look at what they are doing and copy them.

This is the easiest way to be successful in your business, Model Success. If it's working for them, then it can work for you too.

How To Do Keyword Research

Doing proper keyword research is very important. It is your first vital step for building your online business.

What people are searching for? You can find out what people want on the internet by looking at the most commonly used keywords they type into the search engines

Why Do Keyword Research?

The reason for doing keyword research is that you can find out exactly what people are already searching for online.

Before you create a product, you should make sure that people are interested in your subject online. Otherwise, you can hardly sell your product as there will have no market on it. You don't want to spend all your hard work and money developing a product that no one is looking for!

I know it! I've be been there! I have done it! And I don't want to do it again!

Therefore we have to produce products, articles or blog posts that people are already looking for and interested in. Always start doing keyword research for ideas to find out what people are already interested in online.

How To Do Keyword Research?

To do your keyword research, you should look for "Long tail Search results". Let me explain the meaning of it. Long tail search results mean 3 or 4 keyword phrases that generate majority of the search results.

For example, "internet marketing" is a pretty competitive term. It is not easy to get high ranking for the term "internet marketing" for a website in search engines. That means you have to put a lot of efforts to optimize the phrase "internet marketing" for search engines. You have to get a lot of incoming links to your sites that use the words internet marketing. It is not that easy.

Why not choose long tail keyword phrases? These phrases are with less competition for search engine optimization. The phrase "internet niche marketing software" is a good example. It is much easier for a website to get a high ranking for this term "internet niche marketing software" in search engine than for the term "internet marketing".

Try to come up with 10, 20 or even 100 long tail keyword phrases related to internet marketing and optimize the site for those terms. You can definitely generate more traffic to your site by just focusing on less competitive terms.

Where To Find Long tail Keyword Phrases?

Here are a few places you can do your keyword research and find long tail word phrases for free.

How to Make Money From Bum Marketing

It is not difficult to make money from bum marketing once you know what it is. It is a new term that is said to have originated from somebody claiming that even a penniless bum could make money using it. I wish that were true, because I would immediately go on the road for a while and then try to use bum marketing to make money. However, it is just somebody trying to be different and use a new name for an old technique.

In fact, it is another name for article marketing. What the theory states is that even a bum must know something about something; at least enough to start up a website. Fill the site with content on your niche, based on a few good keywords, and then write a few articles to drive traffic to the site. In fact, all of that is quite possible, and is the way that many people have made their fortunes in internet marketing.

The key is getting a good niche, and getting good keywords around which to build your web pages. There is plenty software around to allow you to do that, and once you have a few pages on your website with reasonable content, you can start marketing it and then monetize it. You might think that is the wrong way round, and it should be monetized first, but that would be a mistake. First, start advertising your website for the content it contains. You can put products on the site later.

You will ultimately do better that way than if you jump right in with a website full of products. Provide good and useful content, and add the products later. Now comes the bum part. The crux of bum marketing is writing articles. If you write two or three articles every week on the subject of your website then you will get traffic, and you will get valuable links back to your web pages from highly ranked pages. The traffic and the links are important.

After a week or so check your listing in Google. If you are listed at all, it doesn't matter where, than start to add products to your website. Keep writing articles, but lead your readers to the content pages on your website rather to the product pages. Your visitors will get to the products themselves when they are ready to purchase, so don't force them. You can lead them to any page you want by using links in your Author's Resource box that most article directories allow. Those that don't provide an actual box allow you to add the links at the end of the article.

The links you provide should direct the reader to a page on your website that provides more information on the subject of the article they have just been reading. That means 'more information. And not the same information. You have to expand on what information your article provided, and then provide link on your web page to a product or sales page.

That is the theory. For most, however, it does not work like that. They are unfamiliar with the technique needed to write a good article, and to make people want to click through to their website. Article writing is actually a skill, and it is little wonder that so many are being refused by the directories. Many lack even basic grammar, let alone an obvious lack of knowledge about how spell checkers work. So here are some tips on how to make bum marketing work for you.

First, get a good niche. Make it something you really know something about. Most people know about something, and you will be surprised at the type of niches from which people make money. Arts and crafts, knitting, quilting, oral hygiene, how to get a date, how to play football, losing weight, putting on weight, lighthouses, pirates and cheating at video games. Anything goes: people make money from anything and everything.

Secondly, get a good web host, not a cheapo. Get one that gives you autoresponders and email addresses, subdomains, and a checkout and payment system and traffic analysis. Pay about $25 monthly if you can afford it. Then design you site well, so that it will get listed by the search engines. Write each page based on one keyword phrase.

Then write articles. Spell check often, and use a grammar checker if you have one. Get somebody else to read it over - but somebody that is a good English speaker. Let them fix any mistakes in spelling and grammar then submit the article to as many directories as possible. Wait a day or two then put your products on your website.

The write another few articles, each one based on a different page of your website. Submit them to article directories and keep doing this. You should soon notice a difference in your traffic, and you should start to sell some products. You can the change your marketing strategies to suit the pages that most people are visiting on your website.

You can make money from bum marketing if you are able to write, but if you cannot, then the way how to overcome that is to have them ghost written or to have a friend check the article over for you.
