One of the biggest stumbling blocks to article marketing is to stay motivated to write articles everyday. When I first got into article marketing I wrote one article and was very disappointed with the results. To succeed with article marketing you need to write consistently everyday.

The main reasons for this is that you are not sure which of your articles are going to do it for you. I have had one article that had more than a thirty percent click through rate. I think that this is very unusual. Usually my articles average about a three percent click through. So if you write two bad articles that do not really produce any results then your third may produce some good results and you will get a few subscribers to your newsletter. So if you only wrote the first article you would be under the impression that article marketing does not work.

When you write everyday it becomes very easy to procrastinate and put off writing the next article. So when I think of a good article I immediately sit at my personal computer and type it out before I forget about the idea.

I always think of the bigger picture. More articles translates into more subscribers to my newsletter and more customers. So when I get lazy and am not in the mood to write any articles I will always try to think of the big picture.

One of the other obstacles that you will also face is that at some stage you will experience writer's block. This is when you run out of creative ideas. This is when I visit the main categories of article directories to give me some ideas of what topics I can write on.

Hopefully these tips will help you to see the big picture and stay motivated to write articles everyday.

These are the absolutely imperative items you must include in your bio box:

Authors Name: its absolutely amazing how many people forget to put their name in this box, this should be the very first thing you actually write

The website url: you must put in the website address for the product or service you are selling, for example, http://www.veretekmarketing.co.uk

An Elevator Pitch: this is where you put you USP (unique selling point), the main benefits to the product or service you are selling o A Call To Action: This is where you have to get your reader / prospect to do something, i.e. go to your website a buy from you.

Below are some extra items you are welcome to include in your bio box

Your business Contact Information: Such as your business phone number or how to reach you for interviews or your press/media kit. Keep in mind that article marketing is a timeless strategy and you may not have an easy ability to retract what you put in your article once it hits major distribution.

A Free Report: offer something free to the reader / prospect, this will entice them further to go to your website and BUY!

An anchor URL that is related to one keyword or the keyword phrase that you would like to build SEO strength for. Example: if I wanted to build search engine relevance/strength for the term "Article Marketing," I'd link up that term in my resource box to my website. This is an intermediate to advanced level strategy and should not be abused by over-doing it. Keep it simple.

A few things you definitely should not include in your bio box:

Listing every single website that you own, this will seriously decrease any credibility that you may have spent time building up.

Telling your reader / prospect about every major accomplishment you have made, to be quite frank the reader / prospect does not care!

Never advertise products or services that aren't related to the topic / article you are writing about.

As a general rule of the thumb your bio box should not exceed more than 20% of the article its self, all too often authors make their bio box up t 50% of their article

My final conclusion to your bio box:

When writing your article remember the main body of it is where you get to "give" information to your reader / prospect, the bio box is where you will get to "take" information from your reader / prospect.

Article marketing success what is it? First, article marketing is the art of writing articles for the purpose of gaining web publicity and submitting them to various online promotion services, or article directories, and gaining web traffic as a result. So what is article marketing success? Well, I guess you have to determine for yourself what is article marketing success for you.

For me, article marketing success will be when I can get 100 subscribers per day from my articles. But that is just my goal. I currently am at about 30 per day and I have 500 articles. So I think I need a few more!

But what about you? What is article marketing success?

My guess is that for you, article marketing success will be when you achieve online whatever your personal goals are, and use article marketing to drive that.

You see, the biggest thing with article marketing is that it drives online traffic. And when you drive online traffic, then as long as you are converting that traffic, you can achieve online goals.

Just write articles similar to this, but in your own web niche, and submit them to the various online article directories. They will promote your web site, and if you put your url in your bio, then by default, they will be promoting your web site and you should receive traffic from your articles.
