Article Marketing - Does It Pay Off To Market In Other Niches?

Many people who get started in article marketing or even Internet marketing in general try to market Internet marketing products. However, they themselves have not made a few decent sales online, let alone make a full-time income on the Internet.

Truth is, there are not many people out there who are interested in making money online as there are people who want to...

- Lose weight

- Get better in relationships

- Get happier

- Have less stress

- And lots more of other stuff!

And there are many more other niches. You'll also be competing with article marketers who are not so into Internet marketing like many of the readers of this article will be. Most of the writers in those niches submit a few articles for testing or merely for small branding purposes.

However (and that is a big however!), if you use them purely for out and out traffic generation to your websites, you can get almost all your articles in the 3-digit zone easily. Many of my articles in other niches reach a 100+ page views after just a week or so and many others hit 300 or more page views.

The simple fact is this: articles in other niches away from the 'make money online' niche or 'Internet marketing' niche generate far more page views, which means far more traffic to your website. You'll also get far less sophisticated competition who are no well-versed in Internet marketing tactics!

So make use of this information to start marketing in niche markets if you haven't. I'm not saying don't sell to the Internet marketing niche (please do so if you have a quality product!), but venture into other niches where it is potentially a lot more profitable.

Advanced List Building Strategies That Will Increase Your Business

List building is one of the most important parts of building a successful business. When I first started with internet marketing I wish I knew I could have done this successfully as it would have made a big difference in my business today. It can also be very challenging and for many newbies this may be too overwhelming.

In this article I would like to share with you some strategies that will help you to get the most of your list building efforts.

1) Split and test different headlines for your squeeze pages

When I first started I was terrible at creating squeeze pages that would convert visitors into subscribers. I think my first squeeze page must have converted at about five percent. I now average between twenty and forty percent depending on the traffic source. Test different headlines with different copy until you find the combination that works the best.

2) Track and test different email copy

This is a really important part to getting the most out of your list building. If you have a list of 10,000 subscribers you can split test email copy by sending two different versions to 1000 subscribers each. Once you can see which email copy converts the best you can send this to the remaining subscribers of your list.

3) Monetize your thank you pages

One of the main principles of list building is offering a free report. Once your subscriber has subscribed they get redirected to a thank you page. I have found a one time offer that gets displayed immediately after they have subscribed before redirecting them to a thank you page converts really well into sales. If you are not already doing this then you are leaving a lot of money on the table.

How To Get Free Targeted Traffic Through Your Resource Box

Throughout the years many people have learned the secrets of search engine optimization. More and more sites are getting massive results on getting free targeted traffic to their sites. Some people even had articles as their only source of Traffic.

But how do you get traffic from an article? The answer is simple. It is called a resource box. A resource box is something you put a link and then people can click it. Make sure the the site that you are wanting them to go to is relevant to the article that you make.

Like the article, a resource box must also be eye-catching and want the reader to click on the link. If you reader likes you article chances are they will click on the link to find out more about the certain topic you were writing on. This is where the resource box comes handy.

A good thing to put in your resource box is a key word. This, in return, will help you rank higher in the search engines as well as triggering the reader to click on your link. Another tip would be to not mislead your readers. You don't want to send them to a place they will click off of. Instead try sending them to a good looking website so they will stay longer and hopefully buy something.

This little resource box is one of the most important tools to have in getting traffic to your site. You should not take this lightly at all. Try to make the resource box as you have a great deal to offer. If you follow these steps they'll be no reason why someone would want on your website and you will get plenty of free targeted traffic day in and day out.

The Art of Link Exchange

Before you start reading this article I must warn you - everything that was written here is my own experience in link exchange. This article should not be referred to as official advice or proven techniques. I only want to share the experience of the helpful methods I used.

When you started your website you probably knew that two major factors play the biggest role in search engine placement: links and content.

1. The first recommended way to get links is to develop useful, unique and original content. Webmasters who visit your website will see that content is good and will link to your website to provide their visitors with some useful websites(info maybe?). If you searched Internet for some information, then you know how hard it can be to find a useful website.

2. Link exchange with other websites. There are two ways you can exchange links:

a) One page links you place a link on one page and the other website places a link to your website

b) Site wide links you place a link on all pages of your website

Both variants have pluses and minuses. For example, I believe that a link on all pages counts by Google as a link from one website; but if a website has thousands and thousands pages, the repeated link title on each page may effect you position in search engine results for that specific keyword.

If you are doing one page link exchange, I would recommend you to create special pages where links to other sites will be stored.

Thousands webmasters every day search for other websites to exchange links. When selecting a link partner, pay attention to the number of links on the page where he offers to place your link. The more links on that page, the lower benefit you will get exchanging links with this website. Also, try to keep numbers of links lower then 40 in all your link pages.

If you want to exchange site wide links, try to exchange non-direct links. Non-direct means that you must follow the pattern:

Website "A" gives a link to website "B", "B" website gives a link to website "C". This way the benefit from site wide link exchange may be increased significantly.

3. Write articles or tutorials. Make them free of change to republish if a link back to your website is provided with the article.

4. If your website is close to web development area you may want to create online software (such as guestbook, online calendar, etc.) with the open source and permission to use if a link back is included on pages. As an example of popularity gained that way you may see website of phpbb free online message board.

Internet Marketing Conference Success - 7 Winning Strategies For Boosting Your "Who-You-Know" Factor

Conferences? For internet marketers? Who needs them anyway? You do!

Why is that? Let me count the ways! Here are 7 key strategies that help you realize the important role conferences can play in your career, and how to go about making the most of the conferences you go to.

1. Know why you should consider going to face-to-face internet marketing conferences.

You may wonder: Why bother? You know that what matters is not really (only) what you know. Here's what's much more important: WHO you know.

Well, guess what! How are you going to get to know the WHO's whom you'll need to know? How will you meet those gurus who can help you market your product by sending it to their lists? Conferences, of course. And what seems next to impossible in normal life will be a piece of cake at a conference.

2. Fully appreciate the potential benefits of going to a conference - and act accordingly.

Is it really worth all the trouble and expense? Yes! Yes! Yes!

Why? Priceless contacts. Not just gurus, but potential JV partners as well. New friends. Often all of the above rolled into one. Great information too!

3. How do you go about actually meeting anyone? Actually, it will be difficult not to. But to maximize your effectiveness, pay attention to three key parts of the conference: before, during, and after. Plan ahead, for all of it. Ensure ideal networking conditions by staying at the conference hotel.

4. Before the conference: Do like a girl scout or boy scout: Be prepared. Get the program, look at who will be there and which of the many people you would most like to meet. If there are key people, buy some of their products and READ them if you haven't already (or listen to them, or watch them, as applicable). If there are none of the key people you want to meet, consider looking for a different conference. Bring a big stack of business cards.

5. During the conference, part one: Be alert & pace yourself. Make sure you are well rested. Avoid (too much) alcohol. Be ready for chatting and socializing with the key people you want to meet at a moment's notice. Be friendly to everybody else too. You never know if you're talking with the CEO-to-be of the next Google, Facebook, or Squidoo.

6. During the conference, part two: Gurus are people too! Be respectful of their time, be familiar with what they do, but most of all, be friendly and treat them like the nice and likeable human beings they are.

7. After the conference: Follow up. Take out all those business cards. Hopefully, you'll have jotted notes on the back of each of them. If not, do it now, before you forget who was who. Then review: Who was this person again? What did you promise by way of follow-up? Do it. Send them all a friendly "nice to have met you" email. Send them something of interest and value if at all possible. Oh, and keep in touch!

And that's it! Seven winning ways to get the most out of a conference. Get real about the importance of personal contact and about conferences as the primary way to achieve it. Get ready and prepared. Go and play nice. Follow-up and deliver what you've promised - and then some. Enjoy your new friends, and most importantly, keep in touch.

Now there's only one more question. Which internet marketing conference are you planning to go to first?

Unlock The Secret Of Choosing A Profitable Niche Market For Your Article Marketing

Are you using the correct strategy for your article marketing? Many people when they first start doing article marketing want to write about anything. It is very important to target your articles to a very specific market.

When I first started marketing on the internet. I did everything right. I built my website and started driving traffic to it. Unfortunately this was all in vain. You see I could not actually monetize my traffic.

This is a common mistake for most people new to internet marketing. They will do everything right only to find out that they can't monetize their traffic.

So one of the very first steps that you need to do before you decide to stick to the article marketing niche that you are going to focus on writing articles for is the following. You need to send two hundred visitors to your sales page and if you receive no sales then it is unlikely that you will make money from this niche market.

Consequently this means that you need to find another topic to write articles on that you can monetize the traffic. Get this crucial step wrong and your internet business will crumble.

So let us look at the theory behind a niche market. You need to find a smaller segment of a mainstream market where the volume of sales is too small to justify a big competitor to enter that market. You also need to offer good customer service. This will allow you to generate repeat sales from loyal customers. This will earn you substantial profits in the future as it it is much easier to sell to an existing customer than to a new customer.

The better that you become at choosing a niche market to write articles on the more stable the foundations of your internet home based business will be.

You Can Be An Affiliate Marketer

If you're looking for a great way to supplement your current income, or perhaps replace it altogether, give online affiliate marketing a try.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is a system of marketing whereby a vendor has something to sell, they decide to sell it online, and are looking for ways to promote their product. They enlist the help of "affiliates" to do the selling for them - and in return, the affiliates earn a percentage of the profits.

Affiliate Marketing Programs

There are many affiliate programs online, a couple of the most well known are Clickbank and Commission Junction. Clickbank sells information products mainly in the form of ebooks, while Commission Junction sells just about everything. A quick search of affiliate marketing programs will turn up hundreds of programs to choose from.

Affiliate Marketing Tips

Affiliate marketing is very easy to get into, but not everyone can make a go of it. You will have to do a lot of homework to learn the ropes. Do a search on affiliate marketing guide and you will see the huge range of products and websites that make huge promises of making hundreds of dollars a day. While this is possible, it takes a while, and lots of trial and error to get to this level. This is a profession that you have to be committed to just like anything else if you want to succeed at it. The best tip I can give is to become a sponge. Read everything you can get your hands on, look for forums and see what is working for others. That is about the best way to get successful is to find someone that is successful and copy their methods. Don't try to reinvent the wheel.

You Can Do It

Just remember to not get discouraged. It can take a while to get good at affiliate marketing, Just stick with it and you too can succeed.
